Little Acorns
A weekly drop-in group for 0-5 year olds and their parents/carers.
Come along to our popular drop-in group on a Tuesday morning for fun, food and friends! Every week, we set up the hall with a wide range of crafts, toys and activities for babies and children aged 0-5 years. We have a lovely, relatively new, outdoor play area with a range of ride-on toys, slide, playhouse, see-saws and a large sand pit, which we use rain or shine. Back inside, we also have a small room attached to the main room which we use as our quiet/baby room. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available at the counter for adults throughout the session, served by one of our lovely volunteers. After tidy-up time, we all sit down for group snack time, which consists of a selection of fruit, veg, breadsticks and rice cakes. To finish off the session, join us on the carpet for singing and music time before we say goodbye to all our friends!

Toddler Club
Structured term-time sessions for your 2 or 3 year old, in preparation for (or alongside) nursery or pre-school.
Toddler Club is a structured play session for 2 and 3 year olds, run as a term-time course, and aims to prepare your child for pre-school, or to add a little more structure to their week if they are already currently attending a nursery or pre-school placement.
Each week we have a different theme, but will follow a similar routine, which includes a
hello song, story time, craft and free play focusing on EYFS curriculum-based activities, tidy up time, a light lunch such as toast and fruit, and singing time. And of course, there will be tea, coffee and biscuits available for parents and carers to keep you going!
If you would like to sign your child up to the next half-term block, please email Rachel at kidlington.communityhub@gmail.com or get in touch via the facebook page to reserve your place.

SEN Squirrels
A weekly term-time group for children with additional needs and their families.
This will be a group aimed at children who have additional needs, whether they have a diagnosis, are starting on that journey, or if parents/carers feel they just need a little extra support. We will enjoy lots of fun activities, crafts and sensory play, using St John’s hall and garden as a safe and supportive space for children and their families. We will have snack time for children, and hot drinks and biscuits will be available for the grown ups!
Please note: The age range is flexible as we know that age isn’t always a determining factor for a child’s needs or abilities when it comes to SEN, so please always feel free to get in touch with us if you are worried.
Venue: St John's Church Hall, The Broadway, Kidlington, OX5 1DD
When: Fridays 10-11.30pm (TBC)
